What's The Goal Behind Christian Music Festivals?
Why have them? What's the purpose of hosting annual events like Creation Festivals and Winter Jams? For the Creation Festival, it's all about changing lives and glorifying the creator. Basically, they all hold that same purpose. Each festival shares the message of the love of God to all creation through music and the sharing of the Gospel. Every lyric, song, sung and every personal testimony given during a concert gives the Christian artists an opportunity to introduce spectators to love of Jesus Christ.
These festivals have become a way of evangelism. These concerts may reach people for Christ in ways other resources have not been able to. That is why there is so much excitement when these festivals roll around each year. It's fun. It's a time to worship. It's a great, usually inexpensive way to see some awesome Christian musicians and more importantly, what might God do with all of it? Don't miss out on these opportunities.
